ceramic: increased wear resistance compared to steel inserts (hardness after Mohs*: approx. 7.5)
titanium ceramic: extraordinarily wear-resistant due to a more compact structure (hardness after Mohs*: approx. 9 = twiche as wear-resistant as 7.5)
*scale of hardness according to MOHS - 10 degrees of hardness of selected minerals (e.g. 7 = quartz, 10 = diamond)
